Goldin Auctions Nets $4.5 Million in Sales in Summer Online Auction

Goldin Auctions – Consignments Wanted for Upcoming Auctions

There were more than more than 1,750 items up for bids in the 2017 Goldin Auctions Summer Online Auction and after tens of thousands of bids from thousands of collectors, it was basketball and baseball cards and memorabilia from Aaron Judge and the 1969 and 1986 Mets that stole the show.

Combined with the 90-lot live auction staged on July 27, during the National Sports Collector’s Convention in Chicago, the 2017 Goldin Auctions Summer Live and Online Auction netted $4.5 million in sales while continuing the auction house’s continued growth by setting company records for most unique bidders and winners.

“We thank all of our consignors for trusting us with their memorabilia and the thousands of regular and new collectors and fans who participated in both the live and online auction,” said Ken Goldin, Founder of Goldin Auctions. “The fact that historic memorabilia from legends like Wilt Chamberlain and Mantle continue to be made available and modern collectibles from young starts such as Mike Trout and Aaron Judge are in such demand illustrates why now is a great time to be a sports memorabilia collector.”

Goldin Auctions is currently accepting consignments for the Great American Baseball Card Auction; the Americana Rock ‘n Roll Auction and the October Legends Auction. The complete results of the live and online auctions are available at www.GoldinAuctions.com. Here are a few highlights from the online event which closed on August 5.
