2012 Going to Bat for B.A.T. Fundraising Dinner!

You are cordially invited to attend the 2012 Going to Bat for B.A.T. Fundraising Dinner. It is the time of year for the Baseball Assistance Team (B.A.T.) to ask for your support to help raise money for members of the Baseball Family who have fallen on medical, financial or psychological hardships.

Since 1986, B.A.T. has awarded more than 2,800 grants and over $25 million to members of the Baseball Family in need. B.A.T. will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the New York Mets and over 60 former New York Mets legends more than a dozen Hall of Famers and 125 baseball legends in total that will be on hand. Current Major Leaguers Carlos Beltran and Adam Jones will be presented with the Bart Giamatti Award & Big B.A.T. / Frank Slocum Award respectively.
