T206 Plank Sets Pace in Heritage Auction: $110,538

More cards from last summer’s well-documented Black Swamp find of 1910 E-98 cards, a helmet from one of the most famous plays in Super Bowl history and a 1916 Babe Ruth card were sold in Heritage Auctions’ Signature event in Dallas last week, but the highest priced item was one of the hobby’s old standbys.  One of the best known examples of the T206 Eddie Plank rarity sold for $110,538 including the buyer’s premium.  Graded SGC 60 (EX), the card is one of only a few dozen ever graded.  Read full story on Sports Collectors Daily.
