This month, Nate offers a Babe Ruth typed letter signed regarding the cancer that would kill him a year later — ”  Having friends does mean so very much to me and during my recent illness, I had more than ample proof” Plus a Ty Cobb letter signed on Tigers stationery from 1925, Babe Ruth vintage signature authenticated by PSA/DNA, 1958 & 1959 Colts signed footballs, a 1959 Giants signed football, Vince Lombardi signed 8″ x 10″ with JSA, Ed Walsh signed Hall of Fame plaque, Jesse Owens 8″ x 10″ signed photo of him in the 1936 Olympics & George Bush and Gerald Ford single signed baseballs with PSA/DNA.  Bid now as the auction ends on September 20, 2011.

Legendary punter Ray Guy’s Super Bowl XI, XV and XVIII rings sold for $96,216 in Nate Sanders Auctions that ended Tuesday. Guy recently filed for bankruptcy and was ordered by a judge to sell the rings to raise money to pay off his debts. His rings, from Super Bowls XI, XV and XVIII, were auctioned by southern California-based Nate D Sanders. They were on display at last week’s National Sports Collectors Convention in Chicago. Bidding stopped at $80,100. The buyer’s premium charged by the auction house pushed the realized price up another $16,000. Read full story here on Sports Collectors Daily.
