Following his company’s inaugural auction, which sold more than 600 lots of sports, history and pop culture memorabilia Ken Goldin, Founder of Goldin Auctions, presented a check for $5,000 to Joseph Blazejewski, Major Gift Officer of the American Red Cross South Jersey Region to assist with Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

Midway through the company’s first auction, Hurricane Sandy devastated much of the northeast, including Goldin’s home state of New Jersey. On November 6, Goldin and other company founders announced that they had donated items from their personal collections, to create 15 special Hurricane Sandy Relief lots with 100% of the sale from these items donated to American Red Cross Disaster Relief.
“We thank our bidders for being so generous and helping us help this great organization,” said Mr. Goldin.
Goldin Auctions is planning its next catalog/phone/internet auction for February and is looking for high quality consignments including vintage trading cards, game used items, championship rings and watches, Historical documents, golden and silver age comic books, and entertainment memorabilia.
