The June 2008 Auction Now Live! The Auction Ends TONIGHT, Thursday, June 26. PremierAuctionsOnline.com presents one of the largest collections of signed / unsigned game-used hockey sticks offered for the next 2 monthly auctions. The Todd “Hockey†Smith Collection of 1,000 game-used hockey sticks will be available in our June & July auction.
This collection is one which has been spawned from a deep and passionate love of the game with not one single piece from this entire collection having ever been purchased from the secondary market. Each and every piece in this collection has been obtained directly from players, equipment men or arena personnel. Many of the nearly 1000 game used sticks in this collection have been signed with most being personalized to Todd as he was affectionately known around the rinks he frequented while acquiring this massive collection.
Some highlights from Todds collection include game-used sticks from current and future Hall of Famers such as Gordie Howe, Ray Bourque, Dennis Potvin, Mike Gartner, Mark Messier, Pat LaFontaine, Mike Modano and more. This collection also includes some milestone sticks including the stick used by Joe Sakic to score his 398th, 399th and 400th career goals and a stick used by Chris Chelios in the 1984 Olympics.
