A Baseball Signed By The Greats

The signatures are now timeworn and faded, but Jack Smith’s prized possession remains the crown jewel of autographed baseballs. Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Lefty Gomez, Joe DiMaggio, Stan Musial, Bill Terry, Warren Spahn, Bob Feller and Ted Williams all signed Smith’s ball. All are among the greatest names in the history of the sport.  Jack Smith lives in Palmetto, is now 88 years old and still has the ball. It has never been lost, stolen or sold.
