Aaron Judge Debut Jersey Top-Seller on Steiner Auctions Mid-Summer Classic Auction

Mantle’s 1957 Game-used Signed Bat, Aaron Judge Jersey and More From Steiner AuctionsThe uniform jersey worn by Aaron Judge in the Yankee rookie’s debut game, which fetched a high bid of $160,644.05, was the top seller in Steiner Auctions’ Mid-Summer Classic on-line auction which concluded Saturday (July 29). There were 22 bids and over 13,000 views on the jersey worn by Judge when he smashed a home run in his first MLB at-bat on August 13, 2016.

Another Judge collectible, his game-used Father’s Day jersey, sold for $23,500.  A total of more than $1 million in winning bids was collected on 1,006 memorabilia pieces.  A Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig dual-signed baseball sold for $33,000.  The Cookie Lavagetto Collection was highlighted by a $28,159.08 final bid on a baseball signed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower, which was consigned by the famous Brooklyn Dodgers’ son, Ernie.

The star memorabilia piece of the Michael Jordan Collection consigned by former Gatorade VP Bill Schmidt was a pair of Jordan signed, game-worn baseball cleats that drew a winning bid of $25,957.75. Jordan played for the White Sox AA affiliate Birmingham Barons in 1994. This collection also included a pair of game-used sneakers and a pair of Player Editions sneakers that sold for $16,000 and $13,000, respectively.
