Each month on Auction Report, we will take some time and review the monthly addition of Sports Market Report (SMR) that we receive in the mail. We will point our all that is offered by the companies we feature on Auction Report that are listed within the pages of the month SMR magazine. A few highlights for your enjoyment: This months SMR (May 2010 cover date) highlights on the inside front cover and page 1 Legendary Auctions special consignment rates for future auctions as well as highlighted results from previous auction sales. Mile High Card Company follows (page 2 and 3) with a great spread on there previous record breaking results from there january 2010 auction as well as a preview of some of the amazing game worn jerseys featured in their upcoming Spring 2010 auction. SCP Auctions (Page 4 and back cover) features their monthly full page ad seeking consignments and showing an image of the 1931 World Series photo signed by Ruth, Street, McGraw, Altrock, and Mack that sold for $14,500 in their last auction.
Huggins & Scott Auctions (Page 9) gives collectors a few highlights from there latest auction (Ended March 24-25) while expressing there interest in accepting consignments for their upcoming auctions (They list 20 consignment reps you can contact). Followed up on the next two pages are full page ads from Grey Flannel Auction (Page 10) highlighting items from their current April 14th auction, as well as Collect.com Auction (Page 11) showcasing some highlights for there current April 8th auction as well as accepting consignments for their upcoming 2010 auctions. Heritage Auctions does something a little different within the pages of SMR featuring a 4-page glossy heavy stock ad featuring everything from consignments information, auction highlights for their current signature auction ending April 22, their Sunday Internet only auctions, and a company profile.
