Incredible 19th Century Cigar Box Labels
Our 2017 Spring Auction will feature two dozen 19th and early 20th century Cigar Box Labels. All GCLGS graded. Fine examples of proof, inner, outer and salesman sample labels.
1930 Baguer Chocolate Set 89/90. – Featured in the Spring 2017 Auction.
At approximately 5/8″ x 7/8″ the 1930 Baguer Chocolate cards rank among the smallest cards ever produced. The cards are a Cuban issue, released in 1930. Complete sets could be redeemed for candy and equipment. Offered here is a near complete set (89/90) missing only the Mitchell Blake card which considered by most to be the only short printed card in the entire set (and likely the “redemption prevention” card). The set is not lacking HOF players and includes cards of Babe Ruth (graded BVG 5), Gehrig, Foxx, Johnson, Cochrane and many more.
