This particular auction does have several items worth much more than that, we dedicated the covers to feature some but not all of these lots. We have a wonderful selection of signed photos and equipment from key athletes like Muhammed Ali, Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky, LeBron James, Derek Jeter, Michael Jordan among so many more.

Day one of the auction is all about baseball autographs. We start with autographs cards, these go back to the 1940s and include several better 1950s/1960s Topps signed cards and lots and go up to the present.

Autographed photos come next, there is our usual deep offering of signed 8x10s, with classic HOFers and fun images throughout. We also offer many fine looking signed postcards and smaller size signed photos.

The auction continues with some better 3x5s, GPCs and cuts, with key HOFers and scarce deceased players. We have a fine selection of signed baseball jerseys, many on high quality Mitchell & Ness flannel models; checking in with 40 different lots, these are mainly classic HOF players.

Collectors of larger format signed photos will see some more wonderful Derek Jeter signed 16×20 pieces, along with larger pieces signed by DiMaggio, several Mantles and several Ted Williams.

Single signed baseballs close out the first day of the auction. With over 250 different lots, this is almost an auction unto itself! We have all of the usual HOF suspects, tougher deceased singles and many desirable group lots.

Day two begins with multi and team-signed baseballs. This is a very eclectic mix, going back to the 1930s, with many low grade but also many very high grade singles from the 1930s-1960s. There are several fresh and fine team balls in this section. Signed bats follow next, with several Jeters and many popular HOFers.

Basketball collectors should really enjoy this auction. We have a pair of Michael Jordan signed basketballs, jerseys and eight different terrific oversize signed display pieces. LeBron James is also very well represented in the auction. Also of interest might be two vintage 1950s Bill Russell signed items, including a terrific 1957 Celtics program.

Boxing collectors will see several Ali signed photos and a mix of interesting material. Football is a major part of this auction. We have a run of signed footballs with Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and other key players. There are some fine signed full size and mini helmets, signed jerseys, large prints and 8×10 photos. There are also some key Goal Line signed postcards, vintage football signed cards, a run of better programs going back to the 1930s and more.

Hockey autographs are very strong here, with seemingly hundreds of signed pucks in quality lots, signed photos, framed displays, jerseys and vintage cards with autographs.

Baseball memorabilia concludes the auction. We begin with a quality run of World Series Programs from 1924-1970, some are very high grade, others are very rough. We follow with a fine clean run of All Star Game programs going back to the 1940s, many desirable vintage yearbooks and some rare scorecards, including a 1945 Newport News with Gil Hodges and a 1954 Rochester Red Wings with Roberto Clemente. There is a bunch of material that is completely fresh to the hobby throughout baseball publications and memorabilia.

We continue with Hartland Statues, tickets that go back to the 1929 World Series, vintage baseball pennants, quality pins and a respectable offering of vintage equipment. There are many interesting and unusual items in this section.

Clean Sweep Auctions is proud to report that our auction sales continue to be solid and we are currently seeking consignments of items valued at $500 or more for our upcoming auctions. In this challenging economic environment, our unique auction format is more important than ever to help achieve outstanding results when selling your treasured collection.

EXPERIENCE
Clean Sweep Auctions has been running real auctions since 1996. The owner, Steve Verkman, has been active on the show circuit since 1988. Why is this important? We have over 15,000 customers in our database and have relationships with many clients over decades. In this age of instant auction companies, this is something that is vital.

KNOWLEDGE
With our 20 years in the business, we have few peers in our knowledge and expertise on vintage cards, autographs, publications and memorabilia. We have regularly won $1,000 single items for cents on the dollar that were buried into group lots in other major auctions. As a retailer as well as an auctioneer, we know for example what single signed baseball retails for $100 and for $500; this is vital in properly preparing lots for your collection. We are also very careful about researching obscurities and variations in the worlds of cards, autographs and memorabilia. We go out of our way to provide the most honest, properly detailed descriptions in the industry.

INTEGRITY
This is a term that gets thrown around by everyone but when something is sold in a Clean Sweep Auction, bidders know they are bidding on something real. Bidders do not hesitate to leave maximum bids in our auction as they know there is not a chance that they will be run up. Clean Sweep is the only major auction houses that not only restricts consignor bidding but actively polices it. Finally, when it comes to getting paid, we are always on time and offer tremendous cash advances for appropriate consignments.

WEB SITE AND MOBILE VERSION
Our battle-tested web site is the best in the industry. We allow bidders to bid on 50 lots at a time and we were the first auction site to offer PDF full-color downloads of the auction catalog. We have been taking internet bids for 10 years. Perhaps most importantly, we have the largest and finest quality images on the web and continue to be the industry leader in this respect. In this day and age, the web site is often more important than the printed catalog to many bidders. WE ARE THE ONLY AUCTION HOUSE WITH A CUSTOM MOBILE VERSION.

We charge a 10% commission on all items that sell for $500 or more and 15% for lots that sell for under $500.

Clean Sweep Auctions offers national exposure, quality descriptions and no excess lotting. Deal with the most honest auction in the industry.
