The 1949 Bowman baseball set, the first Bowman issue to make use of color, is very collectible and for a number of reasons. It contains several key rookie cards like that of Duke Snider and Richie Ashburn. The set, at 240 cards, is feasible for most collectors and does not represent too daunting of a task.
