Goldin Auctions Accepting Consignments for This Summer’s Live Auction

Goldin Auctions Opening Day Auction Closes This SaturdayLast summer, Goldin Auctions’ Babe Ruth 100th Anniversary Live Auction made national headlines and saw many record prices realized. This year, the company’s summer event will feature both a Live Auction at The National Sports Collectors Convention in Chicago on July 31st and a conventional catalog/online auction at through August 8th.

Goldin Auctions is currently accepting consignments for both the Premium Live Auction at The National as well as the summer catalog/online auction through May 26th. The 100 live auction items must have an appraised value of at least $10,000. To consign an item, visit or call 856-767-8550 or email

The live auction, which will be held at the Muvico 18 Theater in Rosemont, IL, located just a mile from the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center already features dozens of rare items including: a Babe Ruth game-used and signed bat; a Ruth game worn Yankees cap; Christy Mathewson’s 1905 World Series bat; a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle PSA NM-MT 8; a 1933 Goudey Nap Lajoie PSA NM 7; a Hank Greenberg game used and signed Tigers cap and more. A preview of the live auction items will be posted in June at

“If you have been on the fence about consigning your items for auction, now is the time as nearly all of the hobby’s top sports collectors attend the National and will be among our bidders,” explained Ken Goldin, Founder of Goldin Auctions. “Just like last year’s historic Babe Ruth 100th Anniversary Auction we will have a spectacular array of memorabilia and extensive promotional efforts that will make this a special event for the industry.”
