Goodwin & Company’s Masterpieces & Uncommon Commons XLVIII auction of rare vintage graded cards and memorabilia is open for bidding.  Bidding runs through March 28, 2013.  Bid and register at .  Over 600 items up for bid.   In this catalog you will find the seldom seen, or perhaps never seen before, cards of some of baseball’s greatest players. Leading off our selection of over 600 lots is the only graded rookie card of Babe Ruth with the extremely rare Green Joyce advertising back.

Equally rare are the T206 Cobb with a brown Lenox reverse, a blank back T216 Ty Cobb and the one and only mint copy of Richard Harris from the 1948 Leaf Football issue. T206 collectors will find over 100 lots including a near set of PSA graded cards along with many difficult advertising backs including Drum, Uzit and Lenox.

Complete sets of the E95, E96 and W516 issues along with the finest B18 Blanket set we have ever seen are proudly presented in these pages. Hockey fans will be delighted to find high grade rookie cards of Gordie Howe, Terry Sawchuck and Ted Lindsay. Finally, we would be amiss if we failed to mention the Old Put Cigar Cy Young, an E122 Babe Ruth, a U.S. Caramel Ty Cobb, Super Bowl tickets of games 1 and 3 and an array of Gem Mint 1967 Topps high numbers.
