Gretzky’s 1988 Game Used Jersey Brings Record $1.45 Million at Grey Flannel Auctions

The last jersey Wayne Gretzky wore as a member of the Edmonton Oilers—one in which he captured his fourth Stanley Cup —has become the most expensive piece of NHL memorabilia ever sold.  The $1.45 million sale through Grey Flannel Auctions happened early Monday morning, with the jersey garnering 12 bids after opening at $250,000 last month.
