The 2009 Basketball Hall of Fame Induction is upon us. Beginning this Thursday, September 10th, there will be a full weekend of events, both at the Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass. and at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. Below is a complete list of these events: Thursday, September 10th, 6:00pm – 9:00pm, “Family Reunion & Bunn/Gowdy” Dinner sponsored by Grey Flannel Auctions, held at Center Court in the Basketball Hall of Fame. Friday, September 11th, 6:30-9:00pm, Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony at Symphony Hall in Springfield followed by the Post-Enshrinement Reception at the Hall of Fame from 9:00pm-12:00am. Saturday, September 12th, 10:30am-4pm, Grey Flannel’s Fourth Annual Induction Auction, to be held at the Mohegan Sun Hotel and Casino in the Brothertown Room, adjacent to Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse and Sports Café. 6:30pm-9:00pm, The Hall of Fame Induction Celebration to be held in the Uncas Ballroom, Mohegan Sun Casino.
All of this year’s inductees will be attending every event as well as hundreds of other luminaries. If you are not invited to these events and wish to attend the auction, please be aware that you must be registered in advance.
