The Huggins and Scott Auctions current November 2010 worldwide Internet auction offers over 1,000 consigned lots of vintage and modern sports cards and memorabilia in a two-day auction with bidding conducted by phone and Internet via the company’s Web site, www.hugginsandscott.com. Bidding has begun and will end on Wednesday December 1 and Thursday December 2, 2010. The auction contains a wide array of rare and unique items including complete vintage sets with a T205 Gold Border set, a 1933 and 1934 Goudey sets, 1939-41 Play Ball sets and a 1934-36 Diamond Stars set as well as a 1933 Goudey set-break and a high-grade 1952 Topps set-break with every card grading a PSA 7 or PSA 8.  Huggins and Scott Auctions take great pride and care with each individual lot offered and tries to make every experience with our company an enjoyable one. Card collectors will enjoy the 1933 Goudey and 1952 Topps set-break but that includes the #311 rookie card of Mickey Mantle (PSA 7) but will also enjoy the 1922 Neilson’s Chocolates near set (69/120), 1921 W551 Babe Ruth (PSA 8), 1919-21 W514 Joe Jackson (SGC 40) and hundreds of 1933 Goudey PSA-graded cards. There is also a large selection of modern insert cards and sets.

Several high quality autographed items from baseball icons are also offered in this auction. Included is a multi-signed baseball with Ruth, Gehrig and Foxx; a multi-signed baseball from Connie Mack Appreciation Night in 1944 signed by Ruth, Johnson and Wagner; a dual signed Mantle/Maris baseball; and single-signed baseballs of Thurman Munson, Lloyd Waner, Travis Jackson and Stan Coveleski. All autographs have been examined and authenticated.

Other phenomenal artifacts in this auction include a 1951 New York Yankees Championship ring; 1916 and 1920 Brooklyn Dodger solid gold NL Championship medallions once owned by Sherry Smith; a monumental collection of 1953-54 Briggs Meats panels with the rare Jackie Jensen; fantastic game-used baseball bats including Berra and Musial and a variety of gold rings.
