This auction is headlined by a tremendous Babe Ruth signed ticket stub from July 13, 1934 in Detroit, MI, where he clubbed his 700thcareer homerun.
Vintage card collectors will enjoy an abundance of pre-and-post war rarities including professionally graded and raw examples of cards from a variety of designations, including a Novelty Postcard Tris Speaker rookie card PSA 3; a M101-3 Ty Cobb Postcard SGC 20; a SGC Graded T227 Honest Long Cut set of four with Cobb; and a variety of T206 White Borders, T202 Triple Folders, E-cards, early exhibit cards and more.
The post-war collection is substantial as well with an unusually large number of complete and near sets from 1939-1973; a couple of 1951 Bowman graded Mickey Mantle rookie cards; several lots of high-grade Mantle cards, a fresh-to-the hobby collection of Hunter’s Wieners including a beautiful 1955 Musial; and more.
