Starting the 2009 Auction season with a bang, Huggins and Scott Auctions capped off their February 4 and 5 auction with a little more than $1.52 million in sales (Includes the buyer’s premium). This auction featured Huggins & Scott new buyer’s premium policy that works on a declining scale, as the final bids get higher, the buyer’s premium gets lower. According to Josh Wulkan of Huggins and Scott Auction, “We feel that the auction was a great success and reached the levels that we had expected.” “I believe both our consingors and buyers were pleased with our new buyers premium scale.” Highlights from the auction include:
1915 T214 Victory Tobacco Ty Cobb SGC 30 $19,000
Signed .400 Ball – Cobb, Hornsby, Sisler, Terry and Williams $30,000
