Michael Jordan 1998-99 Skybox Premium Basketball Star Rubies

Incredible ’90s Jordan Insert! Graded 8.5 NM-MT+ by BGS. The offered 1998-99 Skybox Premium Basketball Star Rubies #23 Michael Jordan was pulled by our consignor upon release and carefully stored in the decades since. Serially numbered #46/50, not only are 1990s basketball inserts incredibly hot worldwide but when the international superstar appeal of Michael Jordan is added to the mix then an already desirable modern insert instantly soars in desirability! Fortunately, for the winning bidder, this once-in-a-lifetime pull has survived the past 25 seasons in near perfect condition. The Beckett sub-grades are as follows: Centering: 9.5; Corners: 8.5; Edges: 7.5 and Surface: 9. Ichiro Bat

The most prolific hitter of the 21st Century is spotlighted, with this Ichiro Suzuki signed, game-used bat. After tearing up the NPB league in Japan for nine years, Ichiro joined the Seattle Mariners in 2001, and astonished the baseball world, with ten consecutive seasons of 200+ hits. Some of those knocks came off the barrel of the offered Mizuno “Ichiro51” model bat.

From the personal collection of former Pittsburgh Pirates All-Star second baseman Carlos Garcia, this sleek stick is as well sanctioned as it gets. A full photo LOA from PSA/DNA states the bat meets all the criteria for the leading certification service’s top grade for game use (“GU 10”). The PSA/DNA LOA notes the labeling period as 2003-2006, and cites “outstanding use”, including contact marks, baseball stitch impressions and cleat marks. Ichiro’s number “51” is stamped into the knob, and for good measure the batting wizard has signed the barrel with (“9”) potency, by means of a silver-felt tip pen.

In addition to the full photo LOA from PSA/DNA for game use, this bat is accompanied by a full photo LOA from JSA for the autograph, and a copy of an estate sale letter, signed by Catherine Garcia and Carlos Garcia. Additional information can be found at: https://s01.hugginsandscott.com/cgi-bin/showitem.pl?itemid=63690

1909 T206 White Borders Christy Mathewson “White Cap” Pose with Sweet Caporal Back – SGC 8

An Elite Eight! Graded 8 NM-MT by SGC. A standard of collecting excellence is available with the offered 1909 T206 White Borders Christy Mathewson “White Cap” pose crowned by a sparkling clean Sweet Caporal 150 Subjects advertising back. This 113 year-old wonder has survived the century in incredible condition by exhibiting four sharp corners, fresh white edges and gleaming color sequences. The front surface registration is flawless and the tougher pose illustration of the “Christian Gentleman” appears to “pop” from the blue-and-green background setting. A turn-of-the-century masterwork which survives as the highest graded of the player/pose/brand combination judged by SGC. In fact, of the 2,260 total Mathewson cards of all poses and brands (as of writing) judged by the service, the offered relic survives as 1 of 5 to have achieved 8 NM-MT status (top 99.7%) with only one better.
