A wide range of collectibles received over 7500 bids in the 590-lot internet/telephone auction. Posting an impressive 98.7% of items sold and gross sales of $550,000 (buyers premium included), the auction was highlighted by the sale of (4) Razor “Oval Office” Presidential Dual Signed cards (each 1 of 1) for $8225. Other highlights included the Grand Prize in the 2004 Fleer Legacy product – a single-signed Babe Ruth baseball dating to homerun #39 of his 1927 season for $7637; a grouping of (52) 1970 Kellogg’s Football sets with (50) still sealed for $7050; a 1961-62 Richie Ashburn game-used glove for $7050, Ashburn’s 1962 New York Mets Team MVP trophy for $4700; Ashburn’s 1950-60 game-used bat (PSA/DNA 8) for $2937; a 1962-63 Salada Football coin set for $4112 and a 1950 Texas League baseball signed by 8 with Ty Cobb, Tris Speaker, Mickey Cochrane and others for $4700.
