During the last few months we’ve come across a center brand variation that appears on Hillerich & Bradsby bats manufactured in 1950. The variation can be considered transitional, as H&B adopted ‘REG. U. S. PAT. OFF’ in place of ‘TRADE MARK REG.’ under the oval on their center brand. Full details on the variation as it appears on the PSA/DNA website here.
The variation is quite rare and if you have examples in your collection, I would appreciate it if you could share with us by email a few photos of the bat and the player name so we can add the information to our database.
