The modern sports card market continued its impressive momentum as collectors aggressively pursued premium autograph, game-used patch, and one-of-one cards featuring some of the greatest athletes of all time at Goldin’ June 11, 2026 Elite auction. Leading the auction was a stunning 2003-04 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Limited Logos Kobe Bryant Autograph Patch (#73/75), graded PSA 7 with a PSA/DNA GEM MT 10 autograph, which realized an impressive $617,320 after 61 bids. Widely regarded as one of the most iconic basketball card sets ever produced, Exquisite Collection continues to set the standard for high-end modern collectibles, and Kobe Bryant’s Limited Logos patch autograph remains one of its cornerstone issues.
Close behind was one of basketball’s most desirable signed rookie cards, a 1984-85 Star Michael Jordan Rookie Card graded PSA NM 7 with a PSA/DNA MINT 9 autograph and Upper Deck Authentication, which sold for $469,700. The sale underscores the continued demand for authenticated Michael Jordan rookie cards, particularly signed examples, which have become centerpiece investments for elite collectors. Together, the top two lots generated more than $1.08 million, highlighting the continued strength of the premium basketball memorabilia market.
Beyond the headline lots, the auction featured an impressive mix of modern basketball, football, and soccer cards, along with historic game-used memorabilia. One-of-one Logoman cards, SuperFractors, game-used jerseys, and ultra-low-population rookie cards dominated the leaderboard as collectors competed for some of the hobby’s rarest modern treasures.
