Register and view now for Goodwin and Companys Masterpieces and Uncommon Commons LVII auction that is in progress and closes on Thursday, September 25. Perhaps, the most fun you can have in this hobby is finding ungraded, raw, prewar cards in their original condition. Such a “find” is the 1933 Goudey set presented in individual lots, within this September 25, 2014 auction.
These recently graded cards have spectacular color, bright white borders, sharp corners and are simply some of the best Goudey cards you can find on this planet! Not to be overshadowed by these “Glorious Goudeys,” is the rare Frederick Foto Babe Ruth, W600 Ty Cobb, 1954 Bowman Ted Williams and the two Mantle rookies, both the 1951 Bowman and the 1952 Topps issues.
Exquisite mint cards of Banks, Berra and Jackie Robinson are not to be missed along with the finest SGC 1959 Ted Williams Set which grades an astonishing 95.06 for all 80 cards! The highest graded SGC example of one of the hobby’s greatest cards, the T202 Hassan Triple Folder of Ty Cobb’s iconic slide captured by Charles Conlon’s famous photo, is also proudly offered.
The catalogs highlights are simply too numerous to mention, but we would be amiss if we didn’t call attention to the Joe Jackson rookie, the E121 Babe Ruth or the E93 Honus Wagner graded 7.5.
Our November auction will be here before you know it. We are currently accepting consignments from now until mid-October. As always, there is a 0% commission fee for the consignor.
