Worthridge is the culmination of over 20 years of memorabilia and collectibles experience. We began as a small baseball card store in South Florida, and over the years we have grown and been privileged to supply the industry with some of the finest memorabilia and collectibles known. Since moving to the Triad area of North Carolina in 2007, we have expanded to include other areas of expertise such as coins and currency, guitars, comics, sports cards, autographs, estate jewelry, watches, historical and entertainment memorabilia, and as always, sports memorabilia.
In this sports memorabilia auction, we are honored to represent the personal collection of NFL Hall-of-Fame player, Reggie White. White amassed a record of impressive stats and awards during his 15-year career in the NFL, playing for the Packers, the Eagles, and the Panthers. He is known today as one of the most decorated NFL players of all-time. Some of the other athletes represented in the auction are Johnny Moore, Burt Shotton, Jack Dittmer, Les Nunamaker, and Willie and Rube Foster. A sampling of the items includes two San Antonio Spurs NBA Championship rings from 1999 and 2003, a 1915 World Series Unused Ticket from Babe Ruth’s first World Series, an oversized presentation boxing glove signed by Muhammad Ali, as well as a 1972 fight poster signed by Ali and opponent Bob Foster. The auction also boasts claim to Burt Shotton’s 1947 Brooklyn Dodgers National League Championship Ring, as well as many other one-of-a-kind items. The auction begins on June 8, and will run for three weeks until its close on June 29.
For the past two decades, we have been privileged to represent some of the finest items in our industry, and honored to provide collectors with an avenue to obtain great, one-of-a-kind items. We are taking consignments now for all upcoming auctions in all categories of memorabilia and collectibles.
