Memorabilia Puts Up Big Numbers At Auction

Just hours after his impressive debut with the White Sox in Kansas City, slugger Ken Griffey, Jr. had an impressive showing in Chicago as his 600th home run ball sold for $42,000 at auction. The ball, which Griffey knocked out of Dolphin Stadium on June 9 as a Cincinnati Red, was sold at the Mastro Auctions Live Auction at the Mag Mile ESPN Zone Friday night as part of a high-end auction of items linked to some of the biggest names in American sports history.
