We are very sorry for any inconveniece we may have caused you. We are in the process of upgrading our auction software to allow you a better auction experience. Thre is no current auction. Our next auction is scheduled for May 14, 2008.
We would like to clarify this week’s situation concerning all of the emails that have been sent to you, our bidders. There is absolutely no reason for alarm whatsoever. Some of these emails were actual bids and some were in fact, erroneous. Our new Auction Software vendor, while transferring data to our new server, crossed over many different auctions. For example, if you placed a bid of $1,000 in Auction 15 on lot 100, you might have received an email confirmation of a bid in the amount of $1,000 on lot 100 in Auction 16. To further complicate the situation, in every auction we remove lots that we are uncomfortable with after our catalog has been printed. However, the new software did not recognize lots that were removed. Therefore, lots were renumbered consecutively by the software. For example, in our most recent auction, our last lot was number 906 but was in fact, lot 891 because of 15 pulled lots.
