Finishing second was an extraordinary piece of baseball history: Bob Gibson’s autographed 1968 St. Louis Cardinals game-worn road jersey, which sold for $168,000 after 22 bids. The jersey dates to Gibson’s legendary 1968 campaign, when the Hall of Fame pitcher captured both the National League MVP and Cy Young Award while producing a remarkable 1.12 ERA. Gibson’s historically dominant season helped lead to Major League Baseball lowering the pitcher’s mound beginning in 1969, making a game-worn jersey from that season an especially significant artifact.
A high-grade Babe Ruth single-signed OAL (Harridge) baseball took the third spot among sold lots at $132,000. The ball featured a PSA/DNA 8 autograph grade and an overall NM 7 assessment, combining one of the most desirable signatures in sports collecting with exceptional condition.
Championship jewelry also generated six-figure bidding. A 1949 New York Yankees World Series championship 10K gold ring from Casey Stengel sold for $114,000. Michael Jordan memorabilia claimed another position among the auction’s top five sold lots. A pair of Air Jordan XIII shoes worn by Jordan during the first half of Game 2 of the 1998 NBA Finals realized $102,000. The shoes come from the Bulls’ celebrated “Last Dance” championship season and were accompanied by documentation from Sports Investors, the Chicago Bulls and Jeff Schultz.
The auction’s leading results stretched across cards, game-worn memorabilia, autographs, championship jewelry and historic photography, with material connected to Jordan, Gibson, Ruth, Stengel, Lou Gehrig and other legendary names attracting strong prices.

Willie Mays’ 2010 San Francisco Giants World Series championship ring and a Bruce Lee signed album page featuring the scarce “Kato” inscription each realized $28,800. A 1934 Goudey #37 Lou Gehrig graded PSA MINT 9 (OC) also brought $28,800.
Olympic memorabilia was represented by a 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics women’s heavyweight judo silver medal, which sold for $25,200, while the 1960 Rome Olympics pole vault gold medal awarded to American Don Bragg realized $24,000. A 1998 New York Yankees World Series championship owner’s ring also sold for $24,000.
Historic photography extended beyond sports, as a rare 1922 Harry Houdini “The Spirit of Lincoln” original photograph, authenticated as a PSA/DNA Type I, sold for $21,600. A 1964 Hank Aaron game-used Hillerich & Bradsby professional model bat, graded PSA/DNA GU 8.5, matched that price at $21,600.
The results demonstrated the continued strength of premium material with exceptional condition, provenance or historic significance.
