Centennial, CO – Riding the success of its firm record $2.28 million winter premier catalogue auction, Mile High Card Company will be presenting a spring `Extra Innings` auction that will open for bidding on April 16th. Clearing its vaults for an impressive array of incoming consignments destined for Mile High’s summer 2008 catalogue event, the collectibles auction house is pleased to offer over 200 lots of memorabilia, graded singles, and vintage sets. Mile High’s “Extra Innings†auctions are similar to the firm’s premier events but do not make use of print catalogues. Existing MHCC auction users may bid with their existing registration information, and new users may register for bidding at www.milehighcardco.com or via the telephone.    Â
In addition to a selection of over 100 graded cards, dozens of original vintage photographs, signed balls, game used jerseys, and other miscellaneous memorabilia, some notable items to be offered in Mile High’s “Extra Innings†auction include a 1910 E90-2 American Caramel Honus Wagner graded PSA VG-EX 4, a Ty Cobb single-signed ball, and an impressively large Babe Ruth cut autograph. The selection of graded cards consists primarily of baseball Hall of Famers ranging from NM to MINT, with an emphasis on Hank Aaron and Ernie Banks. Various ungraded sets include, among others, 1954 Bowman baseball, 1954, 1956, and 1957 Topps baseball, as well as 1956 through 1959 Topps Football and a sharp 1955 Bowman Football run. Â
