The Memorabilia Network is proud to announce its GREATS OF THE GAME auction. The auction is currently live for preview and registration at www.tmnauctions.com. The auction will go live for bidding on Tuesday May 30, 2023, at 9:00am PDT, and will conclude on Wednesday June 14, 2023, at 7:00pm PDT, with a 15 minute extended bidding rule.
Numerous museum-level items are available in the auction including Sandy Koufax’s 1958 Game Used and Double Signed Herb Score model baseball glove – the first glove Mr. Koufax ever used in game action in Los Angeles after the Dodgers move from Brooklyn at the end of the 1957 Major League Baseball season.
Further to Mr. Koufax, the auction will feature one of the greatest and most complete Sandy Koufax game ticket collections ever to come to the marketplace. With tickets marking almost all of Mr. Koufax’s major achievements during his career, the jewel of the collection is a ticket stub from the June 24, 1955 Milwaukee Braves vs. Brooklyn Dodgers game. The game would see Sandy Koufax make his Major League Baseball debut. Mr. Koufax has signed the ticket, adding the inscription “MLB Debut.” It is one of five known ticket stubs from this game that PSA has ever graded, and it is the only known autographed ticket stub. Adding in the inscription, this ticket is truly a “one-of-one.”
More baseball legends are featured in the auction including incredibly rare items such as a Jackie Robinson triple-signed high school yearbook; Clayton Kershaw’s Game Worn and Signed Dodgers jersey from his 99th career win, as well as signed tickets from his Major League Baseball debut, and first career win; the line-up card from Bryce Harper’s Major League Baseball debut; amazing signed items from Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Roberto Clemente, Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle just scratch the surface of what the auction has to offer.
Showtime also comes to the Greats Of The Game auction in the form of Magic Johnson’s 1985 Converse Game Worn and Double Signed basketball shoes. Worn during the Lakers historic 1985 season and playoff run, the shoes feature the name “Magic” on each and display excellent use. Adding to the lore of the shoes is a picture of Mr. Johnson with the shoes.
The auction will also feature numerous items for the Hollywood collector, from favorite actors and actresses, to favorite films and TV series, numerous signed scripts and photographs will be part of the auction, as well as items relating to some of Hollywoods biggest icons.
