Do you like sports? Do you consider yourself organized? Have you dreamed about working in the hobby you love? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, Professional Sports Authenticator (www.PSAcard.com) would like to chat with you. In an up-close effort to share employment opportunities with the collecting community, PSA is holding a “Virtual Career Fair” on Tuesday, August 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. PDT. That’s right, PSA is providing customers and collectors with the opportunity to text chat with multiple hiring managers from many different departments seeking additional staff.
“This will be the perfect opportunity for people looking for great careers in the hobby,” said PSA President Steve Sloan. “We’ve hired more than 50 people since the pandemic began and we’re not even close to being finished.”
PSA is looking to fill several open positions throughout the company:
- Card Grader
- Quality Control Verifier
- Customer Service Rep.
- Customer Service Specialist
- Research Specialist
- Coordinator, PSA Set Registry
- Senior Account Manager
- Operations Manager
“Everybody is invited to attend, even if you don’t see an exact fit with your professional experience,” added Sloan. “We are looking for passionate, energetic and hardworking people.”
Text chats will last for about 10 minutes. If you see a position you’re interested in at www.PSAcard.com/careers, this will be your chance to find out more about it directly from the hiring managers themselves. Job applicants are encouraged to pre-register for the event at www.PSAcard.com/CareerFair. Those who register early will be able to see the virtual “booths” set up for each department and find out more about the respective positions. On August 25, a green chat button will appear inside those same booths that will allow applicants to start corresponding in real time with PSA officials.
