Ray Guy Super Bowl Rings Bring Over $96,000 In Nate Sanders Auctions

Legendary punter Ray Guy’s Super Bowl XI, XV and XVIII rings sold for $96,216 in Nate Sanders Auctions that ended Tuesday. Guy recently filed for bankruptcy and was ordered by a judge to sell the rings to raise money to pay off his debts. His rings, from Super Bowls XI, XV and XVIII, were auctioned by southern California-based Nate D Sanders. They were on display at last week’s National Sports Collectors Convention in Chicago. Bidding stopped at $80,100. The buyer’s premium charged by the auction house pushed the realized price up another $16,000. Read full story here on Sports Collectors Daily.
