Ray Schulte Rolls Out New Auction Business With Schulte Auctions May Debut Sale

Ray Schulte, president and CEO of Schulte Sports, announced the launch of Schulte, well ingrained in the licensing, marketing and business of sports memorabilia, will conduct online sports and entertainment auctions that will provide collectors the opportunity to buy and sell signed and unsigned sports and pop-culture memorabilia. The debut auction is live now at and will end May 31. In July, Schulte Auctions will feature The Vincent Greco Collection and The Brian Roberts Game-Used Collection.

“Our intent is to provide all-level collectors unique and one-of-a-kind memorabilia to create memories for a lifetime,” Schulte said. The first auction will feature more than 125 items from sports icons such as Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Cal Ripken Jr., Don Mattingly, Joe Montana, Tiger Woods, Lawrence Taylor, Joe Flacco and Alex Ovechkin, among others.

Schulte, who started his New York sports marketing and management agency in 1984, launched Major League Baseball’s All-Star FanFest in 1991, a relationship that lasted through 2002. Schulte also served as the marketing agent for Ripken Jr., which later helped form Ironclad Authentics in 2004. Schulte currently represents Ripken Jr., Don Mattingly, Roberto Clemente, Josh Gibson, Buck Showalter, Preston Mattingly, former football players Larry Brown and Raymond Berry and NBA player Artis Gilmore.
