REA’s Encore Auction Offers 3,200+ Lots Ending June 23, 2024

Bid in our June 2024 Encore Auction, which runs for ten days, ending Sunday, June 23, 2024.  Highlighting the event are more than fifty complete and near-complete sets spanning the 20th century. Top-ranked registry sets, ranging from a 1950 Bowman Baseball complete set currently #10 on the PSA Set Registry with a 6.74 GPA to complete sets of 1960, ‘61, ‘63, ‘64 and ‘65 Topps Baseball, each of which boasts at least an 8.0 GPA, are presented for bidders to consider. The event also includes nearly two dozen items featuring the Great Bambino. A remarkable 1921 Exhibits Babe Ruth PSA VG+ 3.5 and a 1934 R309-1 Goudey Premium Babe Ruth SGC FAIR 1.5 are up for bid along with seven different 1933 Goudey examples. Fittingly, today marks 76 years since Ruth made his final appearance at Yankee Stadium where the team retired his iconic number 3.

The event includes more than 170 examples from the classic 1910-1911 M116 Sporting Life series, almost all of which grade Near Mint or better by PSA, including 80 PSA NM-MT 8s and nine PSA MINT 9s. Three of the cornerstone players featured within the set are up for bid, including Honus Wagner (blue background), Eddie Plank, and Christy Mathewson (pastel background), the latter two of which are each available in PSA EX-MT 6s.
