Louis Bollman
RR’s Vice President of Sports
An industry pioneer with over 30 years experience, Louis started collecting cards very young and swiftly began trading and selling. His passion kicked into high gear when, at the age of 11, he heard a news story about a 1933 Goudey Napoleon Lajoie card selling for $7,000: he was on the hunt to find his own! Bollman made cards his full-time job in 1989, and by 1994 he’d started his first mail-order business specializing in high-grade, vintage cards. Late 1997 brought on his first full-color catalog and in 1998, Louis established an early online presence through his own website and eBay, garnering the attention of the Sports memorabilia industry. Since then, Bollman’s worked for some of the finest Sports Auction houses, and now as RR’s VP of Sports, he travels the country acquiring consignments for our twice-annual Sports Auctions.

Joseph Del Grippo
RR’s Vintage Sportscard Specialist
With 35 years experience as a high-level dealer and passionate collector, RR’s Vintage Sportscard Specialist and Consignment Director Joseph DelGrippo began collecting cards in 1974, putting together the current years sets, then going back and working on older sets. He and his father would scour the early card shows for high grade examples to improve his collection, eventually visiting his first-ever card shop in October 1978-the same day Bucky Dent hit his dramatic home run over the Red Sox. Joe set up at a small show part of a friend’s table with one showcase, an event which turned into a full-time endeavor, which has continued through to this day as part of the RR Auction Sports team. The prices realized for complete sets and groups in our February 2019 Sports Auction are a testament to Joseph’s grading and ability to enhance your collection’s value.

We are currently seeking consignments for our next Sports auction. Would you like to sell Sports cards – vintage cards, tobacco cards, cabinet cards, graded cards?
