Kobe wore the offered purple jersey and matching trunks in Oklahoma City against the Thunder on April 11, 2016 – just two nights before his famous 60-point “Mamba Out” finale at Staples Center. The jersey, shorts and shoes have each been conclusively photo-matched by Resolution Photomatching to his last career away game, and the shorts have been matched to nine additional games over the final two months of his farewell season.
The Nike ‘Kobe 11 Elite Low’ sneakers that Bryant laced up for his final road contest come in the attractive gold and purple Lakers-themed colorways so coveted by sneakerheads and basketball collectors. The unique stitch pattern on the shoes and the patch-to-mesh hole alignment on the uniform made for easy photo-matches during on-court action.
With Kobe’s “Mamba Out” jersey and shoes likely never to become available for purchase, this is almost certainly his last game-worn ensemble that will ever be offered publicly.
