A signed 1989 Topps Traded Ken Griffey Jr. rookie card graded PSA Gem Mint 10 with a perfect PSA/DNA Auto 10 headline signature led Sirius Sports Cards Auction #417, closing at $2,630. The iconic rookie card remains one of the hobby’s most recognizable modern-era issues, and the combination of a Gem Mint grade and flawless autograph helped propel the card to the top spot in the auction that concluded on June 4, 2026.
Vintage cards also performed exceptionally well, with a 1911 T205 Gold Border Jeff Sweeney PSA VG-EX+ 4.5 matching a 1967 Topps Whitey Ford PSA Mint 9 at $1,013 each. The strong results demonstrated continued collector demand for both pre-war tobacco cards and high-grade Hall of Fame vintage issues, while multiple signed Ken Griffey Jr. cards ranked among the auction’s top sellers.
