Small Traditions would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth at The National Sports Collectors Convention last week. Meeting four years worth of supporters of Small Traditions in the span of just a few days was overwhelming at first, but the convention was a much larger success than we ever expected, and the experience of putting so many recognizable names to smiling faces will forever be one of the highlights of my time in this fascinating hobby.
Moving forward, as we kick off our fifth year of monthly auctions, our Exclusive 100-Lot Summer Premium Auction will open for bidding this Sunday evening, August the 14th, and it will run for two full weeks, ending Saturday night, August the 27th.
The auction contains highlights from one of the hobby’s most accomplished Ichiro Suzuki rookie card collections, a very high-end selection of vintage PSA-graded HOF rookie cards, our usual selection of extremely high-end Derek Jeter cards, and a fine selection of unopened material and signed memorabilia, including the balance of estate items from New York Football Giant and former USC Gamecock head coach, Joe Morrison, “The Man in Black.”
Importantly, we are still accepting a select few last-minute items for this exclusive event. As it stands, the auction will be our best yet, but if you’d like to submit your graded cards and/or certified memorabilia valued $1,000 and up before the end of the week, please call or write as soon as possible.
