SportsCardLink.com – Auction Ends Thursday, Dec. 8th

Bidding is in process at SportsCardLink’s Featured Fall Auction. This auction features important and exciting sports cards from the 1880’s to the 1980’s, with one of the highlights being a fresh collection of black Lenox backed cards from the incredibly popular and highly sought after T206 series of 1909-11.

Individual graded card highlights include: a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle in SGC 60 (5) that has some of the best color and eye appeal that you’ll ever see on the card, a spectacular GAI 9.5 Gem Mint rookie card of Ted Williams from the 1939 Play Ball set, selections from the well-known Dan Paradis collection of important early baseball rookie cards, amazing PSA Mint 9 1955 and 1957 Topps cards of Ted Williams, as well as numerous other high grade cards from the 50’s, 60’s and beyond; and much more!

The “Lenox Find” of 15 different mid-grade T206’s, all with Lenox brand ads on the card backs, is a special treat. Rarely do collections of this magnitude surface for hobbyists to evaluate, and this group is considered to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for collectors to add 1 or more of these immensely scarce items to their collections.

SCL Consignment Director Chris Porter stated, “This 4th SportsCardLink auction of 2011 offers a tremendous variety of material for collectors at all levels. We are closing out our first year as an Auction company with a “Home Run” for collectors, and are extremely proud to make available for collectors quality original sports cards of some of the game’s biggest names, such as Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Lou Gehrig and many, many more.
