SportsCardLink’s Summer “Set Builders” Auction is open for bidding! This auction features important sports cards from the late 1800s to the mid 1980’s, with a range of low, middle and high grade cards that will be sure to assist many sportscard collectors. The title of the event is the “Set Builder” auction, as the items listed are primarily individual cards that are perfect for accumulators of the various sportscard sets of the 20th century. High-end cards such as Low Population PSA 8’s and 9’s are abundant in the auction, and collectors of sets such as 1952 Topps, 1955 Topps, 1962 Topps and several more would do well to check out the lots in the auction. Please make a note that the Set Builder auction will close on Wednesday, June 27th.
Individually graded card highlights from this auction include: a gorgeous 1907 A.C. Dietsche “Rookie” issue of the great Ty Cobb (Batting pose) in PSA 5, a beautiful, blazing 1955 Topps Ted Williams card graded PSA 8, an incredible 1955 Red Man tobacco Hoyt Wilhelm in PSA 9, a 1966 Topps Football Don Maynard in PSA 10, a superb 1957 Topps Football rookie card of Dick “Night Train” Lane in SGC 96 Mint, a strong PSA 6 example of the1954 Topps Henry Aaron rookie card, and so many more!

SCL Consignment Director Chris Porter stated, “this auction from SportsCardLink should set in people’s minds that SCL isn’t just all about big ticket, multi-thousand dollar sportscards. We love those cards, of course, but as collectors ourselves we also understand the importance of a seller having an outlet to bring breadth of material to auction, and have it handled appropriately. It’s our pleasure to serve this facet of the sportscard collecting community! We are also happy to accept credit cards from bidders, extend time payments, or have purchases paid for with consignments to other upcoming auctions, if it makes it easier on our bidders.”
With this auction of 2012 now underway, SportsCardLink turns it’s attention to consignment-gathering for our September Featured Auction. The preview for this auction is being assembled, and we encourage early consignments with preferential advertising exposure, better consignment rates, and very aggressive cash advance offers! We offer many selling benefits, including competitive consignment rates, generous interest-free cash advances, and the ability to pay for auction purchases entirely or in part with consignments to a future auction. Call Chris Porter (extension 104), Josh Nathanson (extension 101) or Douglas Gillock (extension 102) at 617-517-0072, or e-mail email@example.com to see what we can do for you!
