About Paragon Auctions
What makes Paragon Auctions special? We call them the 5 Rs of auction house success: results, reserves, remittances, relationships and reputation.
With a 15-year track record of helping leading collectors build their collections, we are ideally positioned to reach those interested in your items. Furthermore, our commitment to low fees—among the lowest, if not the lowest in the industry—helps ensure your results after fees are maximized. There is no additional charge for authentication by third parties unless a full letter is required.
Consignors are allowed to place reasonable reserves on their items. This practice is in the consignor’s interest, and we believe it also removes an incentive for consignors to attempt to place shill bids.
We start paying consignors 21 days after an auction. If we extend a bidder’s payment terms, we do not hold up your funds. If an auction house doesn’t collect on time, it should be their problem, not yours.
We don’t know you by your bidding information; we know you as a person through a relationship we hope to grow over time. When you call, you speak with Paragon’s owner, who is available 13 hours a day to help you. We travel to assess potential consignments, and we also provide free, honest appraisals.
Our reputation is everything to us, and we work every day to make sure it is maintained. Buyers bid confidently because they trust what they purchase from our catalogs is fully and accurately described. And they trust us because we’ve earned that trust over 15 years.
