This is true even if you had registered previously on the old GUU auction site. You may also register by calling our offices at 925.552.8023. The regular session for the auction will close at 8:00 pm PST (Pacific Standard Time). After 8:00 pm PST, the 15 minute rule will be in effect. Importantly:
In order to be eligible to bid on a particular item while the 15 minute rule is in effect, you must place a bid on that item before the regular session closing time of 8:00 pm PST on November 12, 2009. If you do not place a bid on that specific item before the regular session closes, the system will not allow you to bid on that item while the 15 minute rule is in effect.
While the 15 minute rule is designed to make sure no one gets shut out during the closing of an item, in fairness to other bidders you must have expressed interest in a particular item by bidding on it during the regular session to be extended this courtesy.
