The 32nd National Sports Collectors Convention is pleased to announce that The Topps Company will be holding the first ever auction exclusively for VIP Attendees at the National. The auction will be held during the VIP Reception on Wednesday afternoon, August 3, 2011. The auction will consist of 10 rare items from the Topps Vault and will be open only to those attendees who have purchased any week-long VIP Admission Package.
“We are extremely pleased to be able to present a very exciting event to our VIP Attendees who support the show,” said Show Manager Mike Berkus. “Topps will give our VIP Attendees a chance to bid on and walk away with some fabulous collectibles from their archives.” Some of the items are signed checks from Topps contracts with players making them truly a once in a lifetime opportunity for a collector to acquire items that no one else has.
The Auction will be held during the VIP Reception from 2:30-4:00PM on Wednesday, August 3. Bidders will have an opportunity to view the items at the Reception prior to the Auction. Winning bidders will be required to pay for any items won immediately at the close of the auction. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
