Victor Wembanyama’s NBA Debut Game Worn Jersey Brings $762,000

The  jersey worn in the first regular season game by Victor Wembanyama sold for $762,000 at NBA Auctions (Sotheby’s).  It was expected to sell for between $80k – $120k.  The jersey sold for a record-breaking $762,000. That’s the highest amount ever paid for rookie jersey.  The jersey  was worn by Wembanyama in the second half of San Antonio’s 126-119 loss to the Dallas Mavericks, on October 25, 2023. Wembanyama finished with a stat line of 15 points, five rebounds, two assists and one block.
